One of my personal passions in art is surrealism so I was going to create grotesque artwork with some fantasy attributes. New Alpha 1 from Armada Skis

It’s January and it’s snowing, finally! When I lived in my hometown Bielsko-Biala I had beautiful view to the mountains, so even if there were no snow in the city I saw some peeks covered with snow (or not) during the winter. At that time I also used to ski as well, it’s a big fun so I totally understand why some guys wants to be, and become, professional skier.

And they jumps almost to the space, especially with new gear from Armada – Alpha 1. That’s why new model has outer space themed design, with a bit of robots, moons, energetic lightning and some splatters here and there.

Time is Gone @ Depthcore XLIII

The Depthcore Collective is proud to release it’s 43rd themed chapter exhibition, “TIME”. As we near our 10th anniversary, this seems to be an appropriate subject for us as a collective to reflect upon. Ten years have passed by, and the students and teenagers who once populated the group are gone, replaced by full time freelance artists, independent small-business owners and focused creative professionals. Finding the time (oh, the puns are endless with this theme) to create these Chapters has become increasingly difficult.

Maciej Hajnrich, also known as Valp has been making creative industry tremor with a mixture of breathtakingly intricate illustrations since 2007. Such is depth and detail of his complex images, he gives a viewer the chance to immerse themselves further and embark on an exploration journey into the world of vibrant and colourful tales. He doesn’t cease to surprise, excite and inspire whilst pushing the envelope. Based in Polish town of Katowice, Maciej has now got international reach with portfolio bursting many weird and wonderful benchmark pieces for some of the biggest names in the world. He is, after all what he calls himself, a graphic illusionist.
